The Peon is responsible for supporting office operations by performing a variety of tasks, including handling documents, serving refreshments, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting staff with miscellaneous tasks. The role requires a high level of reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Document Handling: • Deliver and collect documents, files, and parcels within the office or to external locations as required. • Assist in photocopying, scanning, and filing documents. Office Maintenance: • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the office, including desks, common areas, meeting rooms, and restrooms. • Ensure that all office supplies such as stationery, paper, and kitchen supplies are adequately stocked. Refreshments Service: • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, water, and snacks to staff and visitors. • Manage the kitchen area, including cleaning utensils and appliances after use. General Assistance: • Assist in setting up meeting rooms, including arranging chairs and setting up projectors or other equipment. • Run errands for office staff, such as going to the post office, bank, or other tasks as needed. • Support administrative staff with simple clerical tasks, like envelope stuffing, sorting mail, or data entry if required. Qualifications: • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. • Experience:Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not necessary. Skills: • Basic understanding of office operations. • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team. • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
