Pathology Aide (Support Services)

Position description
A full-time position is currently available within the Immunohistochemistry team of our Histology Department, at Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology, Macquarie Park.

Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Duties will include:

Preparing solutions for machines
Performing instrument maintenance
Loading samples onto machines
Maintaining accurate records of all activities
Handling and processing slides in accordance with laboratory procedures
Conducting slide checks to ensure quality and accuracy
The successful applicant should have excellent attention to detail, good computer and time management skills, as well as being reliable and possessing the ability to work with an energetic and close knit team.

Previous laboratory experience and knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WH&S) would be an advantage. However, full training will be provided to the suitable applicant.
