Part-Time Music Accountant – DSP, Royalties, Publishing

Iron Hammer Music is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Music Accountant to support our financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the music industry, particularly label or artist-side accounting, who understands the nuances of royalty tracking, music revenue streams, and digital distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile all financial records using QuickBooks Online
Track income from DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), publishing, sync, and performance royalties
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Assist with budgeting and cash flow projections for releases and campaigns
Prepare financial statements and reports for internal review
Ensure timely and accurate royalty calculations and statements for artists and partners
Coordinate with distribution partners and PROs for revenue tracking and reporting
Support tax prep and reporting needs as required
Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within the music/entertainment industry
Familiarity with music royalties, licensing income, and digital revenue reporting
Accounting proficiency in (please submit)
