Job description
John Pardey Architects is hiring a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its team in Hampshire, UK.

We are a UK based studio, looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our growing team, with the right candidate working closely with all members of the team from our office in the New Forest, Hampshire.

As part of a close-knit team, you will be working with the directors, associates, and project architects to deliver high-quality residential projects working throughout all the RIBA Work Stages.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
• RIBA Part 1 qualifications
• ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• good personal organisation and communication skills
• enthusiasm and commitment to learn
• strong design portfolio with an eye for detail
• proficiency in CAD work, experience in Vectorworks (2D) and SketchUp is desirable
• experience with Adobe Suite for presentation material would be useful
• previous UK based-practice experience, including the planning system and Building Regulations, is desirable
• UK Driving licence essential owing to remote office location and requirement for work travel.
