Packaging Designer with Graphic Design Expertise
We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Designer with a strong background in graphic design for marketing collaterals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience and a proven track record of working on the brand side, preferably within the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sector. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can manage packaging design projects while also contributing to the creation of impactful marketing materials.
Location: Gurugram (On-site)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce or consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging Design:
- Develop and design innovative packaging solutions that align with brand guidelines and enhance product appeal.
- Create packaging concepts, mock-ups, and final designs for a variety of products.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and production teams to ensure packaging designs meet functional, aesthetic, and cost requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in packaging design.
- Ensure packaging designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
Graphic Design for Marketing Collaterals:
- Design and produce marketing materials including social media posts, digital ads, print ads, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute creative campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and packaging designs.
- Assist in the creation of website graphics, A+ content for e-commerce platforms, and email marketing assets.
Collaboration and Project Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and provide design solutions.
- Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in packaging design and graphic design, preferably within a D2C brand.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in packaging design and marketing collaterals.
- Excellent understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
