Operations Project Manager – Commercial Diving, Robotics, and Advanced Surveys

Location: Remote (Work from Home) – Travel Required Across Western Canada and Occasionally the U.S.

Commercial diving underwater NDT inspections
Potable water fire suppression reservoir inspections/cleanings
Advanced ROV operations with sonar, 4K video, and 3D photogrammetry
USV-based hydrographic, bathymetric, and geophysical surveys
Robotic pipeline crawlers, magnetic hull crawlers, and tank cleaning systems
Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a remote/work-from-home role with travel to project sites as needed. You will support and lead field operations, manage complex project logistics, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and work closely with the CEO to drive business growth.

If you’re a strategic, hands-on leader with a background in diving, marine operations, or subsea robotics—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full project lifecycle: scoping, planning, scheduling, execution, and close-out
Oversee operational logistics and resource coordination for dive teams, ROV/USV crews, and robotics
Serve as primary client liaison for assigned projects, ensuring satisfaction and timely communication
Prepare or review job-specific documentation: safety plans, JSAs, risk assessments, and reports
Occasionally travel to job sites to act as project lead or Dive Supervisor (if qualified)
Support quoting, estimating, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
Ensure quality control and compliance with CSA, WorkSafe BC, and industry best practices
Contribute to team development and training as company operations scale
Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or field leadership in diving, marine, energy, or robotics sectors
Strong understanding of ROV/USV technologies, sonar, diving operations, or robotic inspections
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills
Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory frameworks (CSA Z275, AWWA, NFPA, NASSCO, COR, etc.)
Willingness to travel to job sites across Western Canada and the U.S.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and eligible to work in Canada
Dive Supervisor certification (CSA/DCBC) is a strong asset, but not mandatory
