We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Doctor to join at a private hospital in the West Midlands. This role involves providing specialist clinical assessments and expert advice on the relationship between work and health, supporting both employees and employers in maintaining a healthy and productive workforce.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments of employees’ health and fitness for work, ensuring compliance with Employment and Equality Law.
• Advise managers and HR teams on the rehabilitation of employees returning from sickness absence.
• Assess disabilities in relation to work and advise on reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.
• Monitor and support employees with long-term conditions or impairments.
• Provide expert guidance on early retirement due to ill-health.
• Offer health advice to employees to promote well-being and prevent illness in line with Trust policy.
• Administer immunisations and immunity checks relevant to the occupation.
• Collaborate with the Control of Infection Team and Public Health authorities in cases of communicable diseases.

Essential Qualifications Experience
• Primary Medical Degree with Full GMC Registration Licence to Practise.
