In some roles, you coordinate services. In this one, you help people navigate some of life’s most challenging moments.
As a Managed Support Navigator at Kaikaranga, you will work alongside disabled people, whānau, providers and clinical teams to ensure urgent support needs are responded to quickly, safely and with care - inside an organisation that is genuinely people-first.
What you will be doing
Coordinating urgent supports and responding to changing situations with calm and professionalism
Conducting needs assessments and planning support for people with complex or immediate needs
Working alongside clinical teams, specialist services and internal teams to ensure seamless support and handovers
Managing workflow and assessing risks in line with NASC guidelines
Supporting quality practice through reviews, recommendations and collaborative problem solving
Full time, Monday–Friday with hybrid working
What you will bring
Experience coordinating supports and services for people with physical, intellectual or sensory disabilities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of people
The ability to stay organised and responsive while managing competing priorities
A collaborative, team-focused approach
Working knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and confidence applying this in practice
