Science Lab Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Science Lab Assistant to support the smooth operation of our school science laboratories. The successful candidate will assist teachers in preparing laboratory equipment and materials, maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment, and help manage laboratory resources for practical science lessons.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for science practical sessions.
• Assist science teachers during laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
• Ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Clean, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and report shortages.
• Properly label, store, and dispose of chemicals and laboratory waste according to safety guidelines.
• Keep records of laboratory equipment, materials, and maintenance activities.
• Perform basic maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment where required.
• Support the setup of science exhibitions, projects, and competitions.

Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a school or educational laboratory is preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and chemical handling procedures.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
