Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician
Location: Rosebery, NSW
Position: Full Time
We are looking for a motivated and capable Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic to join our busy automotive workshop in Rosebery.
Our workshop specialises in European vehicles, JDM performance cars, diagnostics, auto electrical repairs and performance upgrades. We are looking for someone who can work independently, think critically and solve problems throughout the day without constant supervision.
This role suits a technician who enjoys diagnostics, electrical work and problem solving, not just basic servicing.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs
Fault finding and advanced diagnostics
Using diagnostic scan tools for troubleshooting and system diagnosis
Auto electrical diagnosis and repair
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
Installation and repair of wiring and electrical components
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Requirements
Qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
Diagnostic scan tool experience (required)
Experience with vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
Auto electrical experience, including wiring repairs
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
Own tools required
Ability to work independently and manage jobs throughout the day
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid Australian driver licence
Preferred (but not essential)
Experience with European vehicles or performance vehicles
Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment
Interest in performance upgrades or ECU tuning
