In this pivotal role, you’ll provide a seamless, efficient and highly professional service to Brokers, Solicitors and Customers—ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. You’ll take ownership of cases from Mortgage Application right through to Completion, proactively managing progress and delivering a market-leading customer experience at every stage.
A key part of your role will be driving the success of our ‘Release My Mortgage Funds’ process - coordinating and arranging smooth, timely mortgage completions. Your attention to detail, strong stakeholder management and dedication to service quality will be instrumental in achieving outstanding customer satisfaction and keeping transactions moving effortlessly to completion.
Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Mortgage Processor at Nottingham Building Society: -
Administer mortgage applications from application to completion in line with policies, procedures and authority limits.
Maintain the ‘Release My Mortgage Funds’ service by processing fund requests, validating readiness, setting up accurate completion details and completing timely fund releases.
Act as the first point of contact for Brokers, Solicitors and Customers.
Build strong relationships and handle enquiries to deliver high customer satisfaction.
Manage escalations and resolve issues promptly.
Liaise with third parties to support customer and business needs.
Escalate risks and service disruptions to protect SLAs and minimise customer impact.
Work flexibly within a cross-functional team.
Support continuous improvement of services, processes and procedures.
Undertake additional tasks to drive efficiency across the customer base.
