What this job involves:
At JLL, we're looking for an enthusiastic Facilities Administrator to join our team and begin a rewarding career path in the facilities management industry. This entry-level position offers a comprehensive introduction to facilities operations and management, providing hands-on experience across various aspects of the profession.
As our Facilities Administrator, you'll develop practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional relationships that will serve as the foundation for your growth in facilities management while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional workplace experiences.
This role will be based on-site for a global client, locaed in Brisbane CBD.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Work closely with the Assistant Facilities Manager on-site to deliver day-to-day facilities services
Assist with all site operations matters including FM service requests, mail processing, meeting room setup requests, locker requests and EV charging bay bookings
Deliver superior customer service and build effective client/stakeholder relationships across all organisational levels
Process work orders accurately
Handle employee requests and resolve facility issues
Assist with EHS requirements including warden lists, first aid supplies, and key register management
Help maintain fire warden and first aid certifications
Attend training sessions, workshops, and department meetings to expand knowledge and develop professional skills
Contribute to small projects and initiatives under the guidance of senior team members
Maintain accurate facility data and documentation in JLL systems
Follow established processes to ensure adherence to Australian WHS regulations and building compliance requirements
Key Skills Required
Customer service, corporate reception, retail, or hospitality experience highly valued
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanour
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Interest in pursuing facilities management as a long term career
