We are seeking an experienced MICE Sales Executive - Large Events to join our team at Novotel London West, part of the leading global hospitality group Accor.
This role involves fielding and responding to event enquiries for conferences and events with 101 pax or more, converting them into bookings and planning the event in conjunction with relevant Hotel Departments.
Responsibilities:
Handle conference and events sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner, following established procedures and the hotel's selling strategy
Take a proactive lead in all Event enquiries
Ensure effective communication in providing detailed information for all bookings to the Hotel Departments to ensure successful event delivery
Conduct thorough show rounds of the hotel for potential and existing clients
Maximize revenue opportunities and support further sales activities within the hotel, finding innovative ways to increase sales opportunities through proactive selling and upselling opportunities
Identify and collect sales leads, as well as grow and develop existing customer relationships through regular contact
Attend any site visits, planning meetings, tastings or other occasions as required by a client
Prepare and present the weekly Function Sheet on schedule
Carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a hotel sales or meetings and events role
Knowledge of the London market
Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent decision-making ability and a high degree of integrity
Must be legally eligible to work in the UK
