Overview of the Therapeutic Support Assistant Role

In this role, you will be working as part of a team to provide individualized support to students with Autism and co-existing needs. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate and provide individualized support and interventions to our students.

Responsibilities

One-to-one and group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Development and implementation of individualized support plans in collaboration with educational staff.
Individualized support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and educational needs.
Fostering group activities and promoting positive peer interactions.
Guiding students in emotional regulation and coping strategies.
Utilizing therapeutic interventions to best support students.
