Media Experts - Buyer, Investments
Job Description
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting reports.
Assist in investigating, explaining, and resolving variances where applicable (current vs. forecast, current vs. prior years, quarter vs. quarter, etc...).
Coordinate with the planning/buying teams with regards to forecasts, rates and plans to ensure annual targets and commitments are met.
Proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape.
Attend media seminars and vendor presentations as required.
Take initiative to streamline and improve upon existing processes, providing tangible solutions for on-going and future challenges.
Assist in the preparation of client billing estimates and reconciliations.
Assist in solving and clearing billing discrepancies and queries.
Develop proficiency with media-related tools and research systems.
Perform other duties/ad hoc projects as assigned which are within the scope of this role
Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual forecast reports.

Participate in the preparation of customer billing estimates and account reconciliations.
Assist in resolving and correcting billing discrepancies and issues.
Develop a good command of media-related research tools and systems.
Perform any other one-time tasks or projects as assigned within the responsibilities of the position.
Desired Skills & Experience
Post-secondary education – bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong internal client relationship skills.
Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively.
Strong analytical and financial acumen.
Proactive approach to problem solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.
Strong learning agility, with a passion for continuous development.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel).
Proficiency in Excel tools such as: Pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, conditional formatting, IF statements, GETPIVOTDATA, etc.
Post-secondary education – bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, an asset.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal clients.

Expected Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
