About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and creative PR Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive public image for the company by managing media relations, creating engaging content, coordinating PR campaigns, and supporting brand communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute public relations strategies and campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers.
Draft press releases, media pitches, speeches, and other communication materials.
Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and company events.
Monitor media coverage and prepare PR performance reports.
Manage crisis communication with guidance from senior leadership when required.
Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Identify opportunities for positive media exposure and thought leadership.
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Experience in media relations and content writing.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with PR monitoring tools is a plus.
