Mechanic

• Understand the functioning of: Diesel, Hydraulics, Transmission, Electronics
• Understands the functioning of the following machines: Cranes, wheel Loaders, Dumpers, Bulldozers, generators, graders, etc.
• Performs preventive and periodic maintenance according to maintenance schedules to ensure safe and proper working, within an appropriate timeframe
• Repairs to a correct and safe manner within an appropriate timeframe
• Looking for the right spare parts at: Spare parts book, Spare Store (online)
• Understands the automation and the line between the various equipment
• Know the core of problem and gives possible solutions
• Conduct weekly inspections of the machines
• Filling the daily timesheets
• Verbal reporting to superintendent
• Reports defects to superintendent
• Denotes which parts should be ordered
• Make sense for accuracy and completeness in carrying out the work
• Checks own work for errors and completeness
• Defines the different steps to reach a solution
