Role Overview
As a Marketing Strategy Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and market expansion of Noodles business by driving strategic marketing initiatives, consumer insights, and data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations that strengthen brand positioning and business performance.
This role requires a highly analytical and strategic marketing professional with a strong understanding of FMCG markets, consumer behavior, and business analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Market Research & Consumer Insights
• Monitor consumer behavior, purchasing trends, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct competitive analysis and track industry developments to understand market positioning and emerging trends.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence to support strategic business decisions.
• Develop insights and recommendations based on consumer and competitor data.
• Data Analytics & Performance Measurement
• Establish and track key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) across campaigns and initiatives.
• Measure return on investment (ROI) for marketing activities and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate marketing performance to stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Sales, Merchandising, and other business functions to develop a comprehensive understanding of market performance and customer needs.
• Identify business gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic solutions.
• Support the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Budget Management & Reporting
• Monitor marketing expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Track spending across campaigns and initiatives, highlighting variances and opportunities for optimization.
• Prepare budget utilization reports and presentations for senior leadership reviews.
• Support annual marketing planning and budget forecasting activities.
• New Market & Opportunity Research
• Conduct desktop research on emerging markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
• Evaluate potential expansion opportunities through market sizing, competitor analysis, and feasibility assessments.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
• MBA in Marketing from a premier institution, preferably IIMs.
• 2–5 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing Analytics, or Strategy roles within FMCG organizations.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market research methodologies, and marketing analytics.
• Experience in analyzing business data and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/reporting tools is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Preferred Experience
• Experience working with leading FMCG brands.
• Exposure to category management, market intelligence, and commercial strategy.
• Experience in budget tracking, marketing ROI analysis, and business planning.
