Dear Future Marketing Coordinator,
Hi,
I'm Lynn Foster, Director of Merchandising & Marketing.
I'm not looking for someone to simply manage social media. I'm looking for someone who can help tell our story, bring our brand to life, and create experiences that make customers choose us again and again.
You'll create engaging content, manage our social media channels, execute our brand strategy, design store and event signage, coordinate contests and community events, and work alongside our merchandising team to make every campaign come to life—both in our stores and online.
Some days you'll be filming content in a store. Other days you'll be designing signage, planning a campaign, supporting an event, or brainstorming the next great idea. No two days will ever be the same...and that's exactly how we like it.
We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, curious, and loves turning ideas into action. Someone who notices great marketing everywhere they go and thinks, "We could do that...only better."
One unique requirement? You need to be fluent in Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, Generation Z, and even Generation Alpha. Not literally—but you understand that every audience is different, and you know how to create content that connects with each of them while staying true to our brand.
You'll also spend time on the road. Our stores are located across mainland Nova Scotia, and we want someone who enjoys visiting them, meeting our teams, capturing content, and making sure our marketing comes to life consistently in every location. A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel regularly are essential.
You don't need to know everything. We'll teach you our business. What you do need is creativity, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for marketing.
