Job Description
We are looking for a creative, news-savvy social media management intern to drive traffic and engagement for our fast-growing digital news website. This is a hands-on role where the intern will directly manage content distribution across major social channels, working at the intersection of real-time trending topics and data-driven marketing.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
• Manage content distribution across social media platforms, including X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Convert breaking news, political updates, sports (such as IPL/cricket), and technology stories into engaging social media posts to drive website traffic.
• Monitor Google Trends, platform algorithms, and breaking news to align social media distribution with search intent and SEO strategies.
• Create engaging news graphics using design tools.
• Produce short-form vertical videos (Reels/Shorts) summarizing daily headlines.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including click-through rate (CTR), reach, and engagement.
• Analyze performance data and refine the content strategy on a weekly basis.
