As a Manager or Senior Manager in Business Transformation at EY, you will lead the team in delivering successful outcomes through some of New Zealand’s largest and most complex transformation projects within the Financial Services environment. Whether it's unlocking operational efficiencies or driving growth through transformation, you will have the opportunity to shape your career and make a significant impact.

You should be a leader who thrives on challenges, possesses strategic thinking capabilities, and enjoys working closely with clients to achieve results. This role is based in Auckland.


Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities


You can expect a diverse range of responsibilities that allow you to make a meaningful difference. On any given day, your duties may include:


Lead the team in the successful delivery of business transformation projects across various areas, including:
Business strategy development
Large programme planning and execution
Operating model design
Strategic cost transformation and operational efficiency
Process optimisation and ways of working
Business case development
Oversee complex transformation programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from strategy through design and into implementation.
Drive business development and account management activities, including pursuits, proposals, and managing key client relationships.

To be considered for this role, you must have extensive hands-on experience in leading and delivering projects and programs involving business transformation, preferably within the financial services sector.


Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.


A structured approach to critical problem-solving.
Management consulting experience gained through a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm is highly desirable.
Strong capabilities in understanding business strategy and operations of financial services organisations, with the ability to leverage insights for strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical and business concepts clearly and confidently to both internal and external stakeholders.

We have 1 position available. The salary range for this role is expected to be NZD 110,000 to NZD 180,000 dependent on skills and experience. This full-time role is for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
