Position: Maintenance Engineer - High Pressure Pump Equipment & Hydro Jetting Accessories
Experience: 10+ Years
Location - P.O. Box 574111 Nandikur Industrial Area, Udupi, India
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer specializing in high pressure pump equipment and hydro jetting accessories. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing high pressure systems and hydro jetting equipment used in industrial cleaning and maintenance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on high pressure pumps and hydro jetting equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in high pressure systems.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of defective parts, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety standards.
2. Inspection and Testing:
- Carry out regular inspections of high pressure equipment to identify potential issues.
- Conduct performance tests to ensure equipment operates within specified parameters.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
3. Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams regarding the use and maintenance of high pressure pumps and hydro jetting accessories.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
4. Optimization and Upgrades:
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and efficiency enhancements in high pressure systems.
- Recommend and implement upgrades to equipment and processes to enhance reliability and productivity.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety, conducting risk assessments and safety audits regularly.
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in maintenance engineering, with a focus on high pressure pumps and hydro jetting accessories.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in high pressure equipment.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance management software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in relevant technical courses or maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
- This position may require working in industrial settings with exposure to high noise levels, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools as necessary.
- Willingness to travel to different job sites and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
