Full job description
The role:
A newly created role now exists within Unyte Southern's workshop team for a Maintenance Manager to jump onboard and lead our Southern Business unit’s maintenance team. We are seeking a driven individual, with a robust background in overseeing the maintenance, repair and management of heavy plant equipment.

This is a full-time role based at our workshop in Spotswood.

Your every day:

Managing our maintenance team and driving productivity and profitability.
Managing the day-to-day planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Conducting internal safety and quality audits on plant equipment, ensuring compliance.
Ensuring a very strict adherence to health, safety, quality environmental standards across the workshop.
Accurate record keeping and administrations across day-to-day operations.
Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best outcome for business.
Who are you?

Bachelor's degree or certificate / associated diploma across Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or related fields.
Solid understanding around heavy plant equipment and wider systems maintenance.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to manage, lead and influence the wider team to achieve efficient outcomes.
Operational experience managing budgets, cost tracking and cost-saving initiatives.
