Shift Hours:
AFTERNOON SHIFT
Monday to Thursday – 3pm - 11pm
Early finish Friday’s – 1pm - 7pm
In this diverse role, you will see yourself contribute towards our global success as you assist in 24/7 plant manufacturing operations in areas such as:
Breakdown Preventative maintenance
General maintenance
Projects and improvements
New installations
Responsibilities include:
As an integral member of the Maintenance team, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor as you strive for operational excellence with your proactive and mechanically sound skills and mindset.
Some responsibilities include:
Planning and execution of preventative maintenance to improve reliability of equipment.
Leading continuous improvement efforts, using lean manufacturing principles
Maintaining, servicing and troubleshooting failures of plant machinery equipment as per the required regulatory safety standards
Carrying out property/facilities/maintenance duties
Carrying out fabrication machining works as required.
Performing routine checks on plant machinery equipment to agreed standards (i.e. preventative maintenance – machine checks, tagging out of service equipment, 6S activities, fire drills etc.)
Assisting in the development of systems for plant and machinery to ensure operational reliability efficiencies
Proactively contributing to new installations projects
Playing an active role in progressing the organisation for the future
Ensuring Health Safety standards are adhered to

Our newest Maintenance Fitter (Afternoon shift) will:
Have 5 years + previous experience in a similar role (manufacturing and/or plastics industry preferred).
Hold Maintenance Fitter Trade Qualifications.
Have experience and well-rounded knowledge and understanding of mechanical maintenance procedures.
Have experience and knowledge in manual handling and working at heights.
Demonstrate high attention to detail with the ability to concisely record information.
Practice good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
Have the ability to work both independently and part of a small team.
Uphold our values of Safety; Teamwork, Excellence, Quality and Integrity as you contribute and grow with a long-term view/ focus.
Hold full working rights to work in Australia.
Require participation and the successful passing of a pre-employment aptitude and medical test.
The following licenses would be advantageous to the role, but not compulsory:
Forklift licence
EWP licence
High risk work licence
Disconnect reconnect licence
