What you’ll do
Job Title: AutoCAD & SolidWorks SOP Engineer
Job Summary:
The AutoCAD & SolidWorks SOP Engineer is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining engineering drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software. The role ensures accurate documentation, standardization of processes, and support for production and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D models using SolidWorks
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing and maintenance processes
Convert design concepts into detailed technical drawings and BOMs
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines
Update drawings and SOPs based on design or process changes
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for process improvements
Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings and SOPs
Support new product development and prototyping activities
Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues on the shop floor
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting)
Strong knowledge of SolidWorks (3D modeling & assemblies)
Understanding of SOP creation and documentation standards
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Good communication and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Qualification:
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
1 to 3 years (Freshers with strong CAD skills can also apply)
Preferred:
Experience in manufacturing or automation industry
Knowledge of ISO documentation / Quality standards
Exposure to process improvement (Kaizen, Lean)
Work Location:
Jaipur
Salary:19000 to 21000 in hand
