Junior Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Design Engineer, with experience ranging from 3 to 6 years, specializing in Power Electronics, for an extendable 6-month contract position in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess strong capabilities in the design of embedded electronic systems, analog and digital circuit design, and microcontroller-based systems. This role requires a solid understanding of EMI/EMC compliance standards and practical experience with schematic design and PCB layout.

The successful candidate will be responsible for full lifecycle hardware development, documentation, and testing.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the design of embedded electronic systems
• Analog and digital circuit design
• 16/32 bit microcontroller based system design, memory interface
• Basic understanding of EMI/EMC compliance standards
• Experience in circuit simulation tools like LTSPICE, MATHCAD, TINA
• Provides life cycle analysis of electronic components, change and obsolescence management and suggest alternate
• Creates hardware documentation e.g. BOM, design and test specifications
• PCB layout routing guidelines for Analog, Digital, EMI/EMC design, power supply design
• Written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and own complete HW development
• Schematic design using Altium tool, Mentor tool
• Take complete responsibility for the hardware design, documentation
• Participate in reviews for HW related designs, PCBs, and documentation as per the V model process
• EMI/EMC testing for pre-compliance and debugging
• Flexible to support multiple projects on requirement basis
• Create Hardware Test plans and Hardware Test Reports for the designs
• Participate in electronic related hardware product design reviews
