Maintenance Coordinator/Planner

Position Overview
An opportunity exists for a high achieving, self-motivated and results driven individual to join the team at our Deer Park site in Melbourne as part of the operations/manufacturing team.
You will work alongside the reliability and maintenance team, coordinating the day-to-day maintenance activities ensuring the plant and equipment is operating to a high standard that meets company EH&S standards and statutory requirements with a high level of uptime.
Job Responsibilities
Provide front line contractor management including on the job supervision, contractor compliance to plant OHS requirements (inclusive of PTW, LOTO, JSERA’s and Procedural requirements) and maintaining contractor inductions/training.
Assist with the maintenance of equipment, critical system registers, spare parts inventory controlling system, updating and maintaining all engineering drawings and site engineering procedures.
Assist operations team with plant breakdowns occasionally outside of normal work hours and ensure timely return to production.
Administer the site CMMS system (SAP –PM) and maintain all electronic and hardcopy filing so as to be auditable by external regulators.
Record plant performance data as required for engineering purposes, safety, statutory, quality and cost modelling. Implement; record and publish WCM indicators for the site.
Assist with the development and on-going administration and management of Plant wide Preventative Maintenance Program.
Assist in inspections, repairs & maintenance of the plant, to ensure compliance with MHF requirements (where applicable), minimal downtime & cost and maximise efficiency.
Assist Site Engineer with project management and engineering for the site.
Assist to provide maintenance expertise and participation in EHS and Quality initiatives.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations, in addition to, identifying and implementing environmental protection opportunities.
