Location - EON IT Park, Pune
Role purpose:
• Maintain the Teradata environments which support our Group's
key business applications
• Solve incident problem tickets and service requests from the 1st
level and other departments
• Regular monitoring and reporting of service requests and incidents.
• Managing performance, stability and reliability of the systems
• Publish daily / weekly / monthly status reports to users IT stake
holders.
• Support for scheduled activities (release support and changes for
production).
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
. Maintain the SLA while fulfilling requests for Teradata environment
. Provide best customer experience on service performance due to regular
system reviews and pro-active performance and resilience improvements
. Assure correct database configuration and proper documentation of all
relevant changes within the DB infrastructure
. To come up with ideas to enhance the system
. Accountable for end to end operational delivery in scope of App DBA
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Essential:
• Good knowledge of Teradata Systems and Teradata related products
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Query Tuning

• Good working knowledge of Linux
• Good knowledge of SOX regulations
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• B.E/Btech/MCA/MCS
