Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry to develop their skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation quality
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and safety regulations
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the food service or restaurant industry
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary best practices
Experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
Passion for delivering high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
