In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals on the go, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items efficiently, following recipes and presentation guidelines
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck’s kitchen area at all times
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards
Assist with menu planning to introduce new dishes or improve existing offerings
Support catering events or special orders as needed, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals
Serve customers directly when required, providing friendly and professional service
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Familiarity with menu planning, catering, fine dining experience, and food service operations
