Liaisoning Officer
Job Description
The Liaisoning Officer is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with government departments, statutory authorities, clients, consultants, and external agencies to ensure timely approvals, clearances, permissions, and smooth execution of company projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Government & Statutory Liaisoning
Coordinate with various government departments, local authorities, electricity departments, municipal bodies, pollution control boards, revenue offices, and other statutory agencies.
Obtain approvals, permissions, licenses, NOCs, and statutory clearances required for project execution and business operations.
Follow up on submitted applications, inspections, and pending approvals.
2. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare, submit, and maintain records of official documents, applications, agreements, and correspondence.
Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Maintain updated records of licenses, permits, and renewal timelines.
3. Coordination & Communication
Act as the company representative for external coordination and official meetings.
Coordinate between internal departments and external agencies for smooth workflow and timely issue resolution.
Build and maintain professional relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
4. Project Support
Assist project teams in obtaining site-related approvals and operational permissions.
Support project execution by ensuring timely statutory compliance and documentation.
Track approval status and provide regular updates to management.
5. Administrative Responsibilities
Handle official correspondence, letters, and follow-up communications.
Arrange meetings, site visits, inspections, and official interactions when required.
Maintain confidentiality of official documents and company information.
Required Skills
