The Role:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic Perth Property Team, working closely with three Partners and a team of 10+ lawyers and a conveyancing team. This role offers a chance to be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your organisational skills and legal support expertise will be highly valued.

Responsibilities include:
Liaising with clients and team members to keep communication clear and resolve queries efficiently.
Drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
Managing billing tasks, including invoicing, tracking billable hours, processing payments, and handling queries.
Opening, maintaining, and closing electronic files, ensuring everything is organised and up to date.
Providing admin support, including diary and email management, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel.
Preparing conveyancing documents, attending property settlements and managing and assisting with management of online platforms such as PEXA, Office of State Revenue and Landgate.
Handling confidential information with care and professionalism.

What We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in property platforms including PEXA, Office of State Revenue and Landgate.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude and the ability to juggle tasks for multiple fee earners.
Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Excel and a typing speed of 60+ wpm.
Experience with document management and billing systems like FileSite and Aderant Expert, or similar.
Strong organisational and file management skills.
A team player who works well with others.
Proactive and able to work independently when needed.
