EPCOR is seeking a permanent Legal Counsel for its Edmonton, AB office. This full-time role is perfect for a lawyer with litigation experience looking to broaden skillsets in corporate-commercial areas. As a vital member of EPCOR’s mid-sized Legal team, you will engage in regulatory compliance, litigation, and privacy.

This position is ideal for individuals eager to gain diverse in-house experience while supporting Senior Counsel. You will operate as a trusted advisor and will be instrumental in helping EPCOR navigate complex legal landscapes. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice across litigation, regulatory, and privacy
• Manage a diverse portfolio of legal files independently
• Conduct thorough legal research for decision-making
• Enhance legal processes in compliance with EPCOR standards
• Oversee external legal counsel's performance and costs Requirements:
• LLB or JD degree in law
• Licensed with the Alberta Law Society
• 4+ years in regulatory or litigation experience
• Effective communication and judgment skills
