Are you a Litigation Lawyer with at least 4 years PQE looking for a new role in Newcastle upon Tyne?

QED Legal are working closely with an award winning North East firm to help grow their busy Litigation team, specifically their Newcastle office.
The team deals with a wide range of contentious matters including but not limited to: commercial litigation, property litigation, contentious probate, insolvency, professional negligence, equine disputes and debt recovery.
Whether you are a general litigation lawyer looking to keep your workstream broad and varied, or whether you are a specialist litigation lawyer looking to continue to focus on a specialism, this firm would be keen to hear from you.
The wider team is large, with varying levels of PQE and support from both supervisors and a fantastic admin team.

Legal.io is working with a leading travel-tech company seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel for a 4 month contract. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be based in the UK.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of procurement and buy-side contracts, including software licenses, SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, and other technology-related contracts.
Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and legal implications of business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and compliance with company policies and objectives.
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on contract management and negotiation best practices.
Stay current on legal trends and developments in the technology sector, particularly those affecting procurement and contracting practices.
Assist with other legal matters as needed, including corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
Strong knowledge of UK contract law and experience with international transactions.
~ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
~ Qualified to practice law in the United Kingdom.

Hourly Pay Rate: £+5 - £105 / hour
