Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and team support
Operational Property: Manage the daily video production workflow, including prioritizing tasks, removing obstacles, and managing the schedule.
Supervision: Provide regular follow-ups, constructive feedback, and growth support for capture artists and video editors.
Standards and documentation: Define production standards, nomenclature conventions, and technical workflows; onboard new team members; and create documentation to facilitate training.
Performance Report: Assist the Creative Agency Manager in monitoring team workload, morale, and performance risks.
Operational production and technical expertise
Content Creation: Produce high-quality video content for complex or high-priority projects.
Motor Mastery: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Unity and Unreal to capture in-game footage, manage camera configurations, and resolve technical constraints within game versions.
Excellence in Mounting: Apply a strong sense of rhythm, storytelling, and sound design to final cuts, ensuring that content is optimized for various platforms.
Pipeline Improvement: Continuously refine and document capture workflows to increase speed, clarity, and reliability.
Production supervision and quality control
Project organization: Collaborate with the Creative Project Manager to evaluate briefs, estimate efforts, and identify production risks.
Quality Assurance: Review all assets before they are delivered to stakeholders, ensuring they adhere to brand identity, art direction, and marketing objectives.
Feedback: Provide accurate and actionable feedback on shot composition, framing, staging, gameplay readability, and technical finish.
Collaboration
Partnership: Work with the Marketing, User Acquisition, and Game teams to clarify constraints and align with the creative direction.
Internal intermediary: Serve as a technical bridge between stakeholders and the creative team, ensuring that feedback is clearly communicated and implemented.
Expected results
Team Performance: Artists are provided with consistent guidelines for higher quality cutscene and gameplay captures.
Production Efficiency: The video feed is organized with clear visibility of progress and fewer technical hurdles.
Asset quality: Deliverables consistently meet brand goals, with enhanced visual storytelling and technical polishing.
Innovation: Established, documented, and improved Unity capture processes.
