Job description
Responsibilities
Regulatory Coordination & Design Compliance:
Validate that all designs and drawings conform to applicable Development Control & Promotion Regulations (DCPR 2034), UDCPR norms, and other statutory requirements.
Collaborate with design consultants and internal planning teams to incorporate required regulatory corrections or feedback.
Coordinate with external liaison architects to support preparation and submission of drawings for approvals (e.g., LOI, IOD, CC, OC).
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and manage detailed regulatory documentation, including area statements, FSI/FSR computations, and submission checklists.
Maintain up-to-date records of all design submissions, clearances, and pending observations from authorities.
Generate periodic reports and MIS dashboards for internal review and regulatory follow-up, including planning office updates.
Internal Coordination
Serve as the central coordination point between architectural design, legal, and external liaisoning teams.
Track approval workflows to flag bottlenecks and facilitate timely responses to queries or observations from government departments.
Regulation Tracking & Interpretation
Monitor updates in municipal, state-level, and project-specific regulatory frameworks (e.g., MCGM, MMRDA, SRA, MoEFCC).
Interpret implications of regulatory changes on ongoing or upcoming project designs and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering degree/Diploma with Exp in Liason with statutory planning authorities.
Work Experience(Range Of Years)
10 - 15 Years
Preferred Industry
Experience in design coordination or liaisoning support in large-scale real estate, infrastructure, or redevelopment projects
Strong understanding of Maharashtra’s urban development regulations, including DCPR 2034, SRA, and MCGM norms
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel (for MIS), and documentation software.
