Key Responsibilities
Manage small to mid-sized litigation files, with opportunities to contribute to larger cases.
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
Draft and review agreements, contracts, and various legal documents.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on evolving laws to support case preparation and litigation.
Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in dispute resolution.
Collaborate effectively with paralegals and senior lawyers to optimize case strategy.
What You’ll Bring
At least 2 years of post-call experience.
Experience in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Estates Litigation, Tax Litigation, Corporate Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, or Securities Litigation is required.
Law degree from a recognized institution and license to practice in Alberta (or another Canadian province, excluding Quebec).
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills (Tax law background is a plus).
A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to effectively leverage paralegal support.
Proven ability to manage clients independently.
