Landscape Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a desire to contribute to the beautification and installation of various landscapes. This role involves physical labor, working with hand and power tools, and collaborating with other team members to ensure high-quality landscape installation.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of new landscape features, including but not limited to decks, turf, patios, fences, rock, and planting shrubs and trees.
Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth.
Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows for various landscaping tasks.
Operate power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging and building landscape features.
Follow safety protocols while working around equipment and in various weather conditions.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Other tasks may be included depending on the job and to the discretion of the manager.
Skills

Previous experience in landscaping or construction is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with hand tools and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
Ability to build landscape features such as garden beds or retaining walls is a plus.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
A keen eye for detail to ensure quality work in building and installing different landscape features.
Drivers license and vehicle is preferred, as location will change periodically.
