Job description
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles. Load and unload goods. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Professionalism in customer service. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
