Labourer/Lead Hand

Gorilla Property Services is a North Bay/Sudbury based company that specializes in exterior property maintenance and has become an award winning, reliable and trustworthy brand across the country.

The Labourer/Lead for Sudbury will be a critical member of our team, working closely with the owner to drive business growth and ensure efficient operations. This role encompasses a blend of business development, team leadership, customer management, and organizational responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in field services and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Execute each of the services we offer exceeding the client’s expectations
Able to work at heights up to 40 feet on commercial and residential rooftops
Conduct site and safety inspections at the beginning of each job
Manage operational efficiencies at each job site
Supervisor a general helper with positive collaboration
Collect payment from clients at the end of each job
Operate a company vehicle in accordance with established safety procedures and provincial laws
Manage the cleanliness of the company vehicle every day
Manage inventory and condition of the tools used to perform our services • Other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:

Must be able to consistently lift 50lbs throughout an 8-hour work day
Have working at heights and extension ladder experience
Good work ethic who takes pride in their work; honesty and integrity go a long way in this business!
Good organizational and time management skills required to meet daily deadlines • Excellent customer service skills
Able to communicate clearly in English, written and verbally
Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Handyman experience is preferred
Enjoys working outside in various weather conditions
Experience is not necessary as we will train candidates who are a good fit with our organization
Job Type: Seasonal, Part time leading to Full-time (length of time this will take is unknown) Hours are typically Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm however will change based on weather etc...Hourly Rate: Starting at $24.00-25.00 depending on experience with scalable pay structure and the ability to earn commission/bonuses
