Job Description:

VK Medical Centre is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests, analyze samples, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of results. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medical laboratory technology, experience in handling lab equipment, and a keen eye for precision.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue analysis
• Prepare test reports with accurate findings and documentation
• Handle, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain lab safety protocols
• Sterilize and clean laboratory instruments to ensure hygiene and prevent contamination
• Assist doctors and medical professionals in interpreting test results
• Maintain patient records and test reports systematically
• Ensure compliance with quality control and safety regulations

Requirements:
• Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/B.Sc MLT/M.Sc MLT)
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a lab technician
• Valid laboratory technician license
• Proficiency in using lab equipment and software for diagnostic purposes
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
