Job Description
Lab Technician — A-Next Batteries, Inc.
A-Next Batteries (ANB) is developing battery technology for the stationary energy storage market and we're looking for a Lab Technician to support our R&D team in a fast-paced startup environment.
Position Details
Full-time, 40 hrs/week
Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hr (DOE)
On-site
Responsibilities
Safely handle and store laboratory chemicals and materials
Maintain lab inventory and order supplies as needed
Help implement and follow safety protocols and procedures
Keep accurate, organized records of experiments and lab activities
Collect, organize, and interpret experimental data
Communicate findings clearly with team members and management
Work independently on assigned tasks while coordinating with the broader team
Qualifications
Comfortable working with laboratory chemicals and equipment (prior lab experience preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping habits
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Team player with good communication skills
Eager to learn new techniques and able to clearly explain what they've learned
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (chemistry, materials science, or related) preferred
