Job Description:
1. Interact with leadership team from the business assigned and identify themes and messages for which media engagement and amplification can be explored.
2. Benchmark the PR activities of the assigned business with immediate competition and recommend and deploy initiatives to build the recall on par with the competition.
3. Identify opportunities and arrange for relationship building exercise for select leadership for the business assigned.
4. Explore external speaker opportunities and platforms for the select leadership/ spokesperson to represent the business assigned to you.
5. Explore regional media all through to build deeper penetration - and enhance reputation for your brand at a regional level.
6. Ensure continuous engagement with regional media through direct interactions, PR agency and SKRIBE for announcements.
7. During Crisis management - interact with various stakeholders and ensure effective management of the crisis and safeguard the reputation of the business assigned. This includes continuous tracking, monitoring and reporting of the various developments during a crisis as well as issuing media statements and interacting with media for controlling the crisis.
8. Amplify PR stories and coverages through Kotak Katha - our digital PR initiative, through blogs, podcasts, videocasts, twitterspaces, etc.
+. Measure and Report the PR and communications practices on a monthly and quarterly basis.
10. Participate on group level communications initiatives that apply to all businesses.
Work Experience:
1. 18-20 Years of overall experience in the corporate communications function with strong exposure to BFSI business - minimum of 7-8 years of BFSI experience is must.
Education:
1. Masters in Journalism & mass Communications or MBA Marketing
2. Excellent reading, writing and spoken skills in English and Hindi
3. Certification in digital marketing or online media will be an added advantage
4. Should be proficient in MS tools like word, excel and powerpoint
