Responsibilities
Execute complete kitchen remodels, including demolition, framing, cabinetry, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, drywall installation, and finishing touches.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed construction plans to ensure precise execution of design specifications.
Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently to complete various tasks.
Install fixtures such as cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting fixtures, and hardware with accuracy and care.
Conduct quality inspections throughout each phase of the project to ensure compliance with building codes and client expectations.
Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and clients to maintain clear communication and timely project progression.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials like caulking, plastering compounds, or roofing materials.
Skills
Extensive experience in remodeling projects with a focus on kitchens; construction site experience is essential.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
Skilled in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, drywall installation, tile laying, masonry, stucco application, and concrete finishing.
Knowledge of electrical work (including electrical inspection), plumbing systems (including fixture installation), roofing techniques, flooring installation (hardwood, tile), and painting.
Excellent hand tool proficiency along with power tools for various remodeling tasks.
Capable of interpreting schematics and technical drawings related to remodeling projects.
