Job Title: Key Account Manager - Quick Commerce

Role Overview:
The Key Account Manager (KAM)—Quick Commerce will drive business growth, manage relationships, and execute product introductions on quick commerce platforms (e.g., Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket Daily). The role involves end-to-end sales ownership, ensuring revenue targets are met, optimizing product placement, and enhancing brand visibility within the quick commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Ownership Revenue Growth
• Own and drive sales targets for quick commerce platforms
• Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
• Upsell, cross-sell, and launch new products across platforms
• Monitor GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) and growth metrics
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance to drive performance
2. Key Account Management
• Build and maintain strong platform relationships
• Act as the main point of contact for quick commerce partners
• Review account performance regularly with platform teams
• Negotiate JBPs (Joint Business Plans) and promotional deals
3. Product Introductions Launches
• Identify category trends and gaps
• Lead new product launches with internal teams and platforms
• Collaborate with marketing for customized launch campaigns
• Maintain accurate and optimized product listings and inventory
4. Data Analysis Reporting
• Analyze sales data and consumer behavior
• Track sell-through rates, conversion rates, and stock movement
• Generate internal performance reports and demand forecasts
• Use insights to optimize inventory and category performance
5. Promotions Visibility
• Drive platform-specific promotions and campaigns
• Secure high-visibility placements (homepages, banners, top shelves)
• Monitor ROI on marketing spends and campaign results
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Ensure stock availability and timely replenishment
• Partner with the brand and content teams for creatives
• Coordinate with finance for invoicing and payment follow-ups
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets
• Growth in GMV and market share across platforms
• Number of successful product launches
• Sell-through rate and inventory health
• ROI on platform promotions
• Execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
Qualifications Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field (MBA preferred)
• 3–6 years of experience in sales/key account management (FMCG/beauty/consumer goods)
• Prior experience in managing Quick Commerce platforms is mandatory
• Strong in negotiation, presentations, and relationship building
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales analytics tools
• In-depth knowledge of quick commerce trends and platforms
