What you’ll do:
As our Junior Middle Office Analyst, you’ll support the day-to-day processing, validation and reporting of electricity, carbon and treasury derivative trades. Working closely with Trading, Treasury and Finance teams, you’ll help ensure data accuracy, timely disclosures and robust reporting while building strong technical capability in a fast-paced environment.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
Assist with processing electricity, carbon and treasury derivative trades, including deal input, validation and disclosures
Support weekly valuations and discounted cash flow modelling for electricity derivatives
Prepare and monitor daily cash flow reporting to support liquidity management
Build and improve Power BI dashboards for trade capture, validation and compliance
Assist with risk and treasury reporting, including data management and confirmation checking.
What you’ll bring:
You’re detail-oriented, technically confident and comfortable working with data in structured, process-driven environments.
You will also bring;
Strong interest or previous experience in finance, markets or a related quantitative field
Strong Excel skills with confidence handling large datasets and complex spreadsheets
Working knowledge of SQL and an interest in databases and query writing
Exposure to Power BI or other reporting/dashboard tools
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar
Understanding of financial instruments or treasury functions (advantageous)
