Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Lawyer role based in Ahmedabad. The Junior Lawyer will assist in legal research, case law analysis, and preparation of legal opinions and notes. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing documents such as pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and correspondence under supervision. The role involves coordinating with clients, scheduling meetings, collecting documents, and maintaining case files and records. The Junior Lawyer will also attend court hearings, client conferences, and other legal proceedings to support senior lawyers and help ensure timely follow-up on all matters.
Qualifications
• Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, case laws, and legal precedents.
• Proficiency in legal drafting, including pleadings, notices, contracts, and basic legal correspondence.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with clear, concise, and professional writing.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail in handling multiple matters.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior lawyers, staff, and clients, while taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
• LL.B. (or equivalent) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council or eligibility to enroll preferred.
• Comfort with basic office software and legal research tools; openness to learning new legal technologies.
• Prior internship or trainee experience in litigation or corporate practice is an advantage but not mandatory.
