Supra Design is an award-winning architectural design studio based in Manor Royal, West Sussex. We are actively seeking an experienced junior interior architect and designer with sales experience to join the team on a contract basis with the potential to become permanent staff.
Work Days Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
Proficiency in the following skills is essential:
- SketchUp and Layout - Essential
- Adobe InDesign/ Photoshop - Essential
- Microsoft: Word/ Excel - Essential
- Outlook
- Google Drive and Workspace
Other requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal skillset
• Presentable when representing the company with clients and suppliers
• AutoCAD - Bonus.
• A positive, proactive and can-do attitude is a MUST.
• Meets deadlines, deliverables and targets set.
• Ability to work independently and in a team effectively.
• Must be available to attend occasional networking events/ trade shows
• Must have basic sales skills - Training will be provided.
• There will be involvement in marketing and supporting industry-related content creation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Liaise with partners, suppliers and clients.
• Produce technical 2D/3D packages for residential, commercial and hospitality schemes.
• Create specification costings on Excel and mood boards for client presentations.
• Good eye for conceptual designs produced for individual projects.
• Liaise with suppliers on detailed drawings for FFE and bespoke designs.
• Create worksheet guidelines for the manufacturer's production.
• Maintain and manage good working relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers.
• Attend site surveys and site meetings when necessary.
• Problem-solver and enjoys a challenge.
• Assist seniors with research and business developments.
Key attributes include:
• Have a good understanding of existing and emerging materials for interior applications in the residential and hospitality industries.
• Passionate about interior architecture, branding and self-development.
• 2+ years of proven experience in residential and hospitality experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a team when necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at once and prioritise.
• Attend site visits with the team.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong organisation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Report and assist the Director.
MUST:
Applicant must be a resident of the West Sussex, Surrey and/ or willing to travel to Crawley, Manor Royal office.
Preferred:
Must Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence or travel to the Manor Royal office.
