Job Summary:
The Junior Content Writer will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content across various platforms. This includes blog posts, articles, social media content, website copy, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent writing skills, and a keen eye for detail. They should be able to adapt their writing style to different audiences and formats.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and proofread content for various platforms including blogs, websites, social media, and marketing materials.
Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content is accurate and informative.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns.
Optimize content for SEO to increase web traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content.
Assist in creating and editing email newsletters and promotional content.
Ensure all content is consistent with the company's brand voice and style guidelines.
Review and revise content based on feedback from editors and team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in content writing or a similar role.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong research skills and the ability to learn quickly about new topics.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing.
Aware of Intelligent use of AI tools like chatGPT etc
