Role Description
This is a Part time or full-time remote role for a JEE Specialist - Online Tutor. The tutor will conduct live online classes focused on JEE-level Mathematics, Physics, delivering clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and exam-oriented guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning structured lesson plans, creating and reviewing practice problems, assigning and checking homework, and tracking each student’s progress. The role involves mentoring students individually, clarifying doubts, preparing them for tests and mock exams, and coordinating with academic coordinators or parents on performance updates. The tutor will also contribute to refining teaching materials, question banks, and learning resources to align with current JEE patterns and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong subject-matter expertise in JEE-level Mathematics, Physics, with the ability to break down complex concepts into simple, logical steps.
Experience teaching or tutoring for JEE (Main/Advanced) or similar competitive exams, preferably in a 1-on-1.
Excellent communication and online teaching skills, including clear verbal explanation, active doubt resolution, and structured lesson delivery.
Comfort with digital tools for online classes (video conferencing platforms, digital whiteboards, and learning management systems).
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field; strong academic record is an advantage.
Ability to design practice material, tests, and revision plans tailored to individual student needs and exam timelines.
Patient, student-focused approach with strong mentoring skills and a commitment to equitable, inclusive teaching practices.
Willingness to work flexible hours aligned with student schedules, including evenings or weekends when required.
